Navigating the pre-K-12 school selection process can be challenging. Parents want a school whose educational philosophy matches their goals and thinking, a school that builds on a child’s strengths and supports his needs. Parents want a school that will prepare their child for college and the future.
What I do
- Assist families in finding the “best fit” school for their children;
- Regularly visit schools —public, charter, parochial, and independent to keep current on the options available;
- Research the inclusive and specialized options for students with special needs
- Work with family law attorneys and make recommendations to the court when school placement is in dispute;
- Provide information to families moving to the area who want to identify schools before setting up residence.

- 40 years experience as a teacher, principal and school district administrator
- A leader in school evaluation at the state and local level
- 25 years experience in helping families make decisions about school placements
- 8 years experience as a consultant and professional expert working with attorneys and the courts when school placement is in dispute.
- Graduate degrees from UCLA and Mount St. Mary’s College
